Laura Urbinati is a fashion designer originally from Rome, Milanese by adoption, and trained in the United States. Afef, Ines Sastre, Ines de la Fressange, Francesca Neri, Valeria Golino, Laura Morante are among the clients. In 1989, Laura opened her first boutique on Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles, between the glamour of Hollywood and the surfing philosophy of life: the space was minimalist and unfussy, and as well as its own line of swimwear, it stocked designer such as Martin Margiela and Helmut Lang who were then just emerging.
